Keith Homes is known for its green building practices. Since building the first home in Western Pennsylvania in 1997 to receive "ENERGY STAR" certification, energy efficiency has been built into every Keith home.

Keith Homes has committed to build 100% Energy Star certified homes. Energy Star certification is achieved through independent 3rd party analysis, inspection and performance testing. Certification qualifies our home buyers for federal tax credits and state rebates.

Keith Homes has also committed to the U.S. Dept. of Energy's initiative to build high-performance homes. Keith Homes is the first builder in Pennsylvania to achieve the distinction and has received an award of excellence from the DOE.

A Keith home is comfortable in all seasons and utility costs are significantly lower than homes built only to code. By incorporating the following features in every home, energy consumption is significantly reduced. The indoor air quality is improved, drafts are eliminated, and sound penetration is decreased.
